Adele Carr Recruitment is proud to be working with a modern and dynamic accountancy firm that is currently seeking a Payroll Advisor to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of small to medium-sized payrolls for multiple clients
  • Ensure all payroll requirements and deadlines are met with accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, assisting with any payroll-related queries
  • Liaise with HMRC and other third parties to resolve client queries
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Raise accurate bills for clients in a timely manner
  • Support the team and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery

About You:

  • A minimum of 1 year of payroll experience, ideally in an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, including pension auto-enrolment
  • Experience with payroll software (preferably Iris Professional Payroll)
  • Excellent IT and numeracy skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
