I'm currently working with a fast growing and forward thinking organisation based in Liverpool who are looking to appoint a new Payroll Supervisor into their team. In this role, you will be accountable for the delivery of an accurate and reliable payroll service for all employees across the business.Key responsibilities

  • Ensuring all SLAs/KPIs are consistently met
  • Actively lead the delivery to requirements with the company's external payroll providers
  • Support and coach the payroll team to ensure that they are cross-functional and able to support all aspects of the employee life cycle service
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement in payroll and employee HR data processes, which includes increased automation of payroll data collection, collation, and submittal to the external payroll provider
  • Act as a point of escalation and subject matter expert for any payroll related issues that require review, guidance, or problem resolution
  • Provide insight and performance data relating to compliance processes and payroll performance
  • Liaise with colleagues in finance and accounting function to provide a robust and audited payroll and assist in SOX reviews

Role requirements

  • Experience of working in a HR / Payroll Operations environment
  • Experience of working with and driving performance with third party payroll service providers
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to demonstrate strong delivery against performance targets
  • Experience with HRMS and payroll related software
  • Experienced supervisor and able to coach individuals for high performance
