The Role:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing both weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
  • Managing new starters, leavers, and payroll adjustments, including salary changes, deductions, and statutory payments
  • Administering payroll-related benefits, including pensions, salary sacrifice schemes, and third-party deductions
  • Ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliations, including payroll journals, RTI submissions, and year-end processing
  • Handling payroll queries, supporting employees, and collaborating with finance and HR teams
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to payroll processes and procedures
About You:
  • 2+ years of payroll experience within an end to end payroll role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel (lookup tables, pivot tables)
