A highly reputable construction and design consultancy is seeking an experienced and proactive CDM Advisor to join their expanding team in Liverpool.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, and industrial, helping to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained throughout the design and construction phases.

The CDM Advisor Role

As the CDM Advisor, you will play a crucial role in advising clients, designers, and contractors on their responsibilities under the CDM 2015 regulations. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that health and safety risks are identified and managed effectively from the design stage through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Acting as the main point of contact for CDM-related matters.
  • Providing expert advice on compliance with CDM 2015 regulations to clients, designers, and contractors.
  • Conducting risk assessments and safety audits, and reviewing construction phase plans (CPPs).
  • Compiling and reviewing pre-construction information (PCI) and managing design risk registers.
  • Delivering CDM workshops and health and safety training to project teams.

The Successful CDM Advisor Will Have

  • Proven experience in a CDM Advisor or Health and Safety role, ideally within a consultancy setting.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualifications.
  • Membership with IOSH or APS would be advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and their practical application.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
