The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Primary Tutor to provide 1:1 support to a LAC in Year 2.

Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN - particularly SEMH and ADHD.

  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
  • Hours - 2 hours p/d, Monday to Friday with the aim to increase

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Have experience working with SEND students, particularly SEMH and ADHD
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
