In this role, you will support a Year 3 pupil with global developmental delay, following a personalized timetable that includes sensory breaks to enhance their learning and well-being. This term-time position offers the potential for a permanent role within the school.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to meet the child's unique needs and encourage their development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver inclusive and engaging lessons.
- Use patience and empathy to foster positive behavior and address challenges.
- Build a trusting relationship with the student, offering both academic and emotional support.
- Monitor progress and share updates with teachers and parents to ensure consistent care.
- Implement learning strategies, including sensory breaks, to create a positive learning experience.
