Job Description:

Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal looking for your next career move? We are currently working with a reputable law firm based in Woolton, Liverpool, who are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, handling a range of private client matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors with managing client files related to wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate administration.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including wills, letters of administration, and trust documents.
  • Supporting clients with the preparation of probate applications and obtaining the relevant documents.
  • Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and provide regular updates.
  • Conducting legal research and assisting with the preparation of case files.
  • Communicating with external agencies, such as the Probate Registry, HMRC, and financial institutions.
  • Ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to relevant regulations and procedures.

About You:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a Private Client role or similar legal background.
  • Knowledge of probate, wills, trusts, and estate administration processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ideally, you will have a law degree or legal qualification, but this is not essential if you have the relevant experience.
