**Quality Engineer required for a manufacturing business in Liverpool, Merseyside**

This established manufacturer in the plastics injection moulding industry, serving sectors including automotive and construction, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. 

This role is working day shifts Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), and the role comes with an attractive annual salary up to £45,000 per annum (DOE).

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has proven experience with PPAPs within the Automotive Sector, IMDS Knowledge and previous experience from with Plastic Injection Moulding.

Experience with CMM Faro-Arm and Polworks would be highly advantage, but is not essential.

**What You Will Do:**

  • Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO9001 requirements.
  • Engage in new product introduction activities, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
  • Manage and resolve customer, supplier, and internal non conformances.
  • Conduct process and product audits, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate process-related documentation and support production trials.
  • Oversee customer and internally driven engineering changes, supervising a team of 3 shift QC personnel.

**What You Will Bring:**

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role, preferably within a customer-facing capacity.
  • Previous experience within the Automotive Sector
  • Experience and knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding
  • Proficiency in core quality tools including FMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA, & PPAP, and an understanding of lean techniques.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and utilise problem-solving tools effectively.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Packages
  • Leadership skills with a flexible approach to adapt within a fast-paced environment.
