Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for one of our clients based in the Merseyside area.

To be considered for the role of Quality Engineer you must possess previous experience in a quality role, ideally 4+ years experience.

You must also have experience with Polyworks as well as CMM/Faro arm.

Role requirements

  • 4+ years experience in a quality role to ISO9001 standards.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.
  • Degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in using Polyworks and CMM/Faro arm is essential for the role.
  • Any experience in injection moulding is also highly desirable.
  • Working experience or understanding of FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and more.

Role responsibilities

  • Liaising with customers on a daily basis to understand specifications of orders.
  • Maintain and develop the ISO9001 QMS.
  • Engage in NPI activities across cross functional divisions.
  • Generate process related documentation including work instructions, control plans, quality alerts and more.
  • Supervise and lead a team of 3 shift personnel.
