Role: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a growing team of craft technicians for a global giant within the chemical manufacturing industry. This positions main priority is to provide supervision to the craft technicians to support them in their activities, whilst also ensuring quality and safety are maintained.

The role:

  • Provide maintenance engineering support for the craft technicians.
  • Advise and coach technicians in maintenance tasks.
  • Organise and co-ordinate maintenance schedules with maintenance planners.
  • Accountable for safe, efficient and timely maintenance completion by the craft technicians
  • Highlights deficiencies within maintenance system, and fix/escalates as appropriate (spares, PMs)
  • Request and facilitate work order execution for craft technicians.
  • Work with planners to ensure required staffing is available to complete required maintenance activities.

What we're looking for:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a chemical site
  • Experience of leading a team
