About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established law firm based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with significant experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to take the next step in their career and manage their own caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Caseload Management Support:

  • Assist the Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer in managing a diverse caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfers, and completion statements.
  • Prepare files for exchange and completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
  • Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation to support transactions.

Client and Third-Party Liaison:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
  • Handle routine client inquiries, providing updates on transaction progress and responding to any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all parties are kept informed of key developments and timelines.
  • File and Compliance Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and firm standards.
  • Conduct due diligence, including the review of title deeds, searches, and mortgage offers.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving any potential issues or risks associated with transactions.

Administrative and Technical Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and managing correspondence.
  • Utilise conveyancing software and systems to manage tasks, track progress, and ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience working in residential conveyancing, with a solid understanding of the full conveyancing process.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support a caseload in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience using case management systems and other relevant software.
