Your new role An exciting opportunity for an experienced procurementmanager to join the management team to continue the delivery of theirwell-established procurement function. You will be reporting into ChiefOperating Officer (COO). This role will offer you a scope to lead onprocurement projects, including managing and overseeing all the tenderingactivity and engaging with and supporting our managers with the procurement ofproducts and services aligned to our social value and procurementstrategies. What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a Procurement Manager or Category Manager or similar position
  • Be proficient with handling data and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter who is driven and determined to develop their procurement career
  • Ideally you should be CIPS qualified or working towards the qualification and have experience of leading on tender processes, advising on procurement matters in a commercially focused organisation and be able to own the continuous improvement of the procurement function.
