Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in cost management, project estimation, and financial oversight, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and tenders for construction and refurbishment projects.

  • Assess project requirements, specifications, and drawings to determine costings.

  • Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimize cost-effectiveness.

  • Manage and track project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and maintain strong relationships.

  • Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, contractual obligations, and company policies.

  • Provide detailed cost reports and financial analysis to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract management.

  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
