The Leasehold Officer is an integral member of the Property team, responsible for managing relationships with leaseholders and ensuring smooth operations within the department. The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of property management within the non-profit sector.

Description

  • Manage relationships with leaseholders and handle related queries
  • Ensure leasehold services are delivered efficiently and effectively
  • Process lease extensions and deal with Right to Buy applications
  • Carry out consultations in accordance with Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act
  • Provide advice on service charges and major works
  • Work collaboratively with the property team to deliver excellent service
  • Support the implementation of leasehold policy and procedures
  • Participate in property management meetings and contribute to team objectives

Profile

A successful Leasehold Officer should have:

  • A solid understanding of leasehold management within the not-for-profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of property law and leasehold legislation
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex leasehold queries

Job Offer
