We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Compliance Manager to lead our compliance department and ensure that our business adheres to industry regulations and best practices.

Experience is ECO4 retrofit and decarbonisation would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accreditation Management: Oversee the accreditation renewal process, ensuring timely preparation and coordination with auditors.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Collaborate with the management team to regularly update and review company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to verify business procedures are being followed and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Supply Chain Compliance: Ensure all subcontractors are fully onboarded and maintain ongoing reviews of the supply chain to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Regulation Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations (e.g., building regulations) and work with senior management to update company policies accordingly.
  • Employee Education: Develop and deliver training programs for employees to enhance their understanding and adherence to relevant regulations and company policies.
  • GDPR Compliance: Manage and ensure the business's adherence to GDPR regulations, handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) as required.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in managing GDPR compliance in a business setting.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and adapt processes accordingly.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train and educate staff on compliance matters.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying areas of improvement.
