Adecco is looking for an experienced Catering & Hospitality Manager - Are you passionate about food, service, and creating memorable experiences? Our client is seeking a dedicated Catering & Hospitality Manager to join their team at a prominent educational institution.

Location: Liverpool

Salary: 30-33k per annum

Permanent, full-time hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation & Service: Oversee the efficient preparation and serving of meals, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Menu Planning: Develop balanced, culturally inclusive menus that adhere to nutritional standards and budget constraints.
  • Hospitality Management: Ensure all hospitality requirements meet the satisfaction of both internal and external clients.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and manage a dedicated catering team, ensuring they achieve high standards and daily KPIs.
  • Sales Monitoring: Monitor and grow catering sales throughout the school day, implementing strategies to promote services.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Address customer feedback, ensuring all complaints and compliments are handled with care.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Control raw materials and portion sizes according to school standards.
  • Plan and execute special theme days and promotions throughout the year.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance management for catering staff.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Promote healthy eating initiatives within the educational community.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in catering management and hospitality services.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and nutritional standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in food service.
