Finance Assistant | £16 - £19 per hour | Interim | Merseyside:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in North Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to their team on an interim basis to support the team through a period of change and new system implementation. The role is an office based position and a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and busy finance team.
Duties:
- Processing high volume of invoices and payment runs
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations and keeping the ledger up to date
- Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders regarding invoices and dealing with any issues
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations across the organisation
- Correcting/verifying invoices, Filing and maintaining supplier records
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant position is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with people outside of the organisation
- Able and happy to commute into the office 5 days a week
- Enhanced DBS - processed in the last 12 months
- Immediately available or on short notice to start next role
