Adaptable Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a thriving organisation based in Maghull, who are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to support their finance function.
What you'll be doing:As part of a small but growing finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day financial operations run smoothly. Responsibilities will be varied and include:
- Managing daily transaction processing including raising and inputting purchase and sales invoices
- Carrying out bank reconciliations, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate
- Monitoring outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
- Assisting with month end duties, including balance sheet reconciliations and ledger reviews
- Answering internal and external queries relating to accounts and payments
- Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as required
We're looking for a proactive individual with solid experience in transactional finance who is confident juggling multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role (essential)
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond professionally to queries
- ?Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
