What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide 1-1 and small group support for students with severe learning difficulties and disabilities
- Help manage challenging behaviors in a calm, constructive, and supportive manner
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning plans
- Support students' emotional well-being, fostering resilience and social skills
- Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all

- Patience and empathy: You'll need a calm, compassionate approach when working with students facing significant challenges.
- Resilience: Supporting students with challenging behavior requires strength, determination, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability: You'll need to be able to adjust your approach to suit the needs of individual students.
- Teamwork: Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff is crucial to delivering the best outcomes for students.
- Experience in SEND or SEMH settings is a big plus, but a genuine passion for helping students succeed is just as important.
