Here at Empowering learning, we are proudly recruiting for several highly regarded and vibrant specials school here in Liverpool.

This fantastic special school is looking for an experienced Level 2 TA to support on a regular ad-hoc basis.

The role consists of working under the direction of the class teacher, ensuring the child remains on task, promoting positive peer friendships and social skills. Being able to work independently with the child and assisting with group interventions.

You will need to demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, professional attitude. Reporting back to the teacher on the children's progress and how they are responding to tasks and general day to day activities is a must.

We are looking to fill this vacancy ASAP. This is a long-term position, offering some CPD training opportunities. The working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm with a competitive daily rate to offer.

To be considered for this role you will be:

  • Understanding to the child's needs
  • Experienced in supporting children of ages 5-11
  • Able to commit full time, long term for continuity for the pupil
  • Have good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Able to work closely with the teacher to further development.
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get one in process.
