- Lead on Complex Cases: Manage cases referred through schools and the Early Help Hub, including those stepped down from social care.
- Support Families: Provide intensive, tailored support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families, helping them develop practical solutions for issues such as attendance, behaviour, and health.
- Facilitate Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with schools, social workers, and other professionals to create and implement Team Around the Family (TAF) plans.
- De-escalation & Support: Use de-escalation techniques to help manage challenging behaviours and promote positive changes within families.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety of children and young people by following safeguarding policies and actively engaging in child protection processes.
- Lead Professional Role: Take charge of the coordination of support services for families, reviewing progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Holistic Family Support: Work with families to enhance their parenting strategies, build strong relationships, and promote positive behaviour in both children and adults.
- Experience working with children and families in a support or social care role.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and early intervention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, effective relationships with children, parents, and professionals.
