We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in providing essential office support. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and be proficient in various administrative tasks.

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a visually impaired client with administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and has experience with typing, filing, and general administrative duties. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide administrative support to client, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office Suite to create documents, manage emails, and perform other clerical tasks as required.
  • Assist with filing and organising documents to maintain an orderly system.
  • Accompany and support the client during administrative activities, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the client to understand their needs and preferences, adapting support to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong typing and filing skills.
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work sensitively with individuals who have visual impairments.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to support work.
