Rocasa Consulting Limited are looking for an exceptional Manager to take over responsibility for the management and delivery of our Housing Advice and Assessment Hub which provides a range of services for people experiencing homelessness, including people rough sleeping for our Client based in Liverpool.

Salary £34,314 - £38,626 per annum

Mon - Fri - 8.30am - 4.30pm

You will need the skills and experience:With a background in a related homelessness, housing or support setting, your comprehensive understanding of housing and homelessness legislation will enable you to provide sound advice to clients and internal stakeholders and, when necessary, to challenge the decisions of partner and statutory services in order to enable clients to access housing solutions that meet their needs in a timely manner.This is a demanding, fast-paced role which will suit an experienced manager with first class planning and organisational skills, who can provide strong and directed leadership and maintain high levels of personal credibility with internal and external stakeholders.

Personal Spec :

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a related homelessness, housing or welfare advice setting, planning, co-ordinating and delivering effective housing or welfare advice services to vulnerable people.
  • Expert knowledge of housing, welfare rights and benefits legislation and experience of translating this into sound information and advice.
  • Experience of negotiating successful outcomes with local authority agencies/other partner agencies
  • Experience of managing a project which successfully meets all contractual/outcome targets
  • Experience of leading a high performing team, effectively monitoring and managing performance at an individual and team level
  • Experience of managing building premises, ensuring essential servicing, repairs and maintenance are undertaken
  • Good understanding of all relevant health and safety legislation. Experience of contributing towards full premises risk assessments and and ensuring safe systems of work are maintained.
  • Experience of effective budget management
