Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's CMHT. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of 42 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Managed a caseload of adults with complex mental health needs, providing assessments, support, and interventions to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Conducted comprehensive mental health and social care assessments under the Care Act 2014 to identify needs and develop personalised support plans.
  • Worked in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, community nurses, and other professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to care.
  • Undertook risk assessments and risk management planning to safeguard individuals and others, responding promptly to crisis situations.
  • Provided support and advocacy to service users, ensuring their voices were heard in care planning and decision-making processes.
  • Facilitated access to appropriate community resources, housing, employment support, and therapeutic interventions to enhance independence and quality of life.
  • Prepared reports and participated in Mental Health Act assessments, contributing to decision-making around hospital admissions, community treatment orders, and safeguarding measures.
  • Attended and contributed to multi-agency meetings, including case conferences, safeguarding reviews, and care planning discussions.
  • Ensured accurate and timely record-keeping, maintaining compliance with legal and organisational policies.
  • Supported families and carers, offering guidance, referrals, and interventions to help them manage the challenges associated with mental health conditions.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
