Liverpool Council is recruiting for experienced Children's Social Workers with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience across their Permanence Teams.
Candidates should have expertise in Children in Care and Children Looked After, along with excellent engagement skills with children and young people.
The role involves care and placement planning, risk minimization, and ensuring stable placements tailored to individual needs.

You will need to have strong post qualified experience in Children’s' Team
Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
Completing SWETs
Section 7 reports
Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions /ICPCs
Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
Undertaking Section 47 investigations
Writing court reports and attending court
Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.

You should be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and have the commitment and passion to be at the forefront of delivering best practice and support to children and families.
