Liverpool council are recuriitn for a Children's Social workerWe have opportunities for experienced (plus 3yrs pq) children's social workers across our services in our Permanence Teams The candidate will be experienced in Children in Care and Children Looked After Excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people is essential as well Care and placement planning and minimising risk with a methodical organised approach, ensuring long term improved outcomes Ensuring stable placements appropriate for individual needs There has never been a more exciting time to join Liverpool Children's Services as a social worker.   • You will need to have strong post qualified experience in Childrenā€™s' Team
  • Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
  • Completing SWETs
  • Section 7 reports
  • Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions /ICPCs
  • Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
  • Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.Ā 
  • Undertaking Section 47 investigations
  • Writing court reports and attending court
  • Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.
You should be a qualified social worker,Ā registered with Social Work England and haveĀ the commitment and passion to be at the forefront of delivering best practice and support to children and families.Ā  You will be able to manage a complex and diverse caseload to the required standards.If you would like to apply for this role please emailĀ  your CV to .uk or call
