Randstad Education is collaborating with specialist schools in Kirkby to provide support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking passionate, confident, and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team immediately. This term-time role offers a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, with the potential for a permanent position within the school. You will be working closely with students who have diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and young people with a variety of SEN, including Autism and ADHD
  • Act as a confident, creative, and resilient behavior mentor to foster positive relationships with students
  • Ideally, have previous experience working with SEN pupils in schools
  • Be patient, passionate, and professional
  • Assist in delivering lessons across various classes
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons using the P Scales curriculum
  • Build positive learning relationships with SEN pupils
  • Support students with a range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and physical disabilities
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
  • Be available for an immediate start
