Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Kirkby, Liverpool

Randstad Education is collaborating with specialist schools in Kirkby to provide support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking passionate, confident, and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team immediately. This term-time role offers a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, with the potential for a permanent position within the school. You will be working closely with students who have diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children and young people with a variety of SEN, including Autism and ADHD
- Act as a confident, creative, and resilient behavior mentor to foster positive relationships with students
- Ideally, have previous experience working with SEN pupils in schools
- Be patient, passionate, and professional
- Assist in delivering lessons across various classes
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons using the P Scales curriculum
- Build positive learning relationships with SEN pupils
- Support students with a range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and physical disabilities
- Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
- Be available for an immediate start
