Randstad Education is proud to partner with specialist schools in Huyton to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are currently seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team as soon as possible. This term-time role provides a wonderful opportunity to work closely with students, helping them reach their full potential, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer personalized support to children with varying Special Educational Needs, including Autism and ADHD
  • Act as a positive and creative role model, building strong, supportive relationships with students
  • Ideally, have prior experience working with SEN pupils in a school environment
  • Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism in all aspects of your role
  • Assist with lesson delivery and work closely with teachers across different classes
  • Plan and deliver lessons using the P Scales curriculum
  • Nurture positive learning experiences and relationships with SEN pupils
  • Support students with a wide range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and physical disabilities
  • Display excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Be ready to start immediately
