Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join an exceptional SEN Secondary school in Huyton, L36. Any primary SEN experience would be acceptable for this role, and can be a long-term or a day 2 day bookings.

Learning Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom
- Support students in developing skills for independent learning and personal growth.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning resources and materials..
- Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess students' progress, offering feedback and suggestions where necessary.
Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables:
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
- Must have enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one and register with on the Update Service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with children / young adults with additional needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
- Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
- Must have experience using Personal Care
