Milk Education are working in partnership with a primary school in Liverpool who are looking to appoint a full time Learning Support Assistant. You will play a pivotal role in supporting students in raising attainment and boosting confidence!

The right person for this school must be a positive role model, who is patient and understanding. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge and has the attitude of ''every day is a fresh start''. As a key support member in the students day to day routine, you must be a confident individual and positive role model who is able to actively listen and support students with both learning and mentoring.

This is a full time position to start in January 2025, working hours are 8:30-15:30 Monday-Friday.

Key responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:

- Work with students who need additional support in subjects like reading, writing, and maths

- Assist teachers in assessing student progress, providing feedback, and identifying areas where a child may need further help

- Adapt materials or resources for students with specific learning needs

- Help maintain a positive classroom environment by supporting the teacher in managing student behaviour

About you as a Learning Support Assistant:

- Previous experience working with children

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with children

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
