Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on behalf of a dynamic and inclusive school in Knowsley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

As a HLTA, you will:

      • Lead small group interventions and support individual students.
      • Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress.
      • Provide cover for teachers during short-term absences.
      • Support the development of student's social and emotional skills.
      • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About you:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Hold right to work in the UK
    • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
    • Provide references upon request
    • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
