About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Liverpool. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with diverse needs, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

Work closely with students to provide individualised support in and outside the classroom.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
Assist with sensory, therapeutic, and behavioural interventions as needed.
Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and safe environment for all students.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or significant experience working with children with SEN.
A strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (preferred but not essential, as training can be provided).

Eligibility Requirements

Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references.
