This rewarding full-time role requires someone with prior experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN). The successful candidate will provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviours. Your Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 and group-based support to children with SEN, helping them engage with the curriculum and build confidence. Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Use your SEN experience to de-escalate challenging situations and promote positive behaviour. What Were Looking For: To excel in this role, you must have: Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting. A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children. A strong commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting pupils academic and emotional development. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Possess an enhanced child-barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to process a new application). Provide two professional references related to childcare or education. Have up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, though training can be provided).
