SEN Teaching Assistant Immediate Start

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:
Supporting children with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other behavioural or learning challenges.
Providing 1:1 or small group support in and outside the classroom.
Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions and activities.
Fostering a safe and positive learning environment.

About You:
The ideal candidate will:

Have prior experience working with SEN children in a school or care setting.
Be confident, patient, and resilient, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Contract/Position Details:
Type of Work: Full-time, long-term contract.
Hours: 8:30 AM 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Duration: Ongoing, with the potential for extension.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold the right to work in the UK.
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references related to working with children.
