The School and Role

Vision for Education are working with a welcoming two-form entry Primary school in Bootle, Sefton, who are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 1 child with SEN requirements. The child has behavioural needs and requires a strong individual to provide classroom support as well as support to their social and emotional development 

This full-time role will begin immediately, working Mon-Fri, 9:00am-3:00om, with a view to becoming permanent providing that the successful candidate is the right for the child. Applications should be confident in engaging with the child and assisting with their learning whilst watching at all times to ensure safety.

  

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children
  • Demonstrates a passion for fostering the progress and development of young learners
  • Is a team player with strong communication skills
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
