Prospero Teaching are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant.

This school caters to students aged 7-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The classes are grouped by ability rather than age, creating a tailored learning environment that allows every student to thrive.

About You:

  • Passionate about supporting students with SEMH and ASC
  • A newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for your first or next challenge
  • Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic
  • Committed to making a difference in the lives of young people
    • Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent is preferred
    • Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age
    • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
