We are currently seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated special educational needs school in Liverpool. This long-term, full-time role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with diverse and complex needs. About the Role: This is a strictly SEN-focused school, and we are looking for candidates with extensive experience supporting children with special educational needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex learning difficulties. Your role will involve: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN. Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student learning and development. Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure each childs unique needs are met.

What Were Looking For: Substantial experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational setting. Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and adapting to varying needs. A proactive, patient, and resilient approach to supporting children in achieving their full potential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to process a new application). Provide two professional references related to SEN support or childcare.
