We are currently recruiting for a Pastoral & Parent Engagement Officer for a specialist SEND provision based in Liverpool.

The school has provision for primary age children, age 5-11 years, who all have Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The role is to work with professional teams, staff, and children to achieve the best outcome for each individual child, to work with children and their families to best support and engage in learning.

You will be joining an amazing team. We are looking for someone who is passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated in creating new opportunities to bring the school community together.

Ideally you will have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and the ability to create and deliver bespoke therapeutic interventions. You will have patience and resilience, and experience of working in a challenging environment. You will have compassion with the ability to identify families who need support and provide and make appropriate referrals for pupils and families in need of support.

This is a contract position to start as soon as possible, with the opportunity for a permanent position with the school in the future.
