About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Media Studies Teacher to join an inspiring SEN school in Crosby. This exciting role offers the chance to deliver high-quality lessons in Media Studies to students with special educational needs (SEN). You will play a vital role in adapting the curriculum to meet diverse learning styles, fostering a positive and inclusive educational experience.
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Utilise creative teaching strategies to enhance understanding and interest in the subject.
Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students in an inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to provide individualised support for pupils.
Maintain a positive classroom environment, ensuring that all students feel supported and encouraged.
What Were Looking For:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Media Studies Teacher with:
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience teaching Media Studies, with a strong understanding of SEN strategies.
Skills: The ability to adapt teaching styles to suit a variety of learning needs and abilities.
Attributes: Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to classroom management.
Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential, as training is provided).
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, candidates must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references related to teaching.
