SEN Early Careers Teacher- KS1

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Early Careers Teacher / HLTA to join an SEN class of a mainstream Primary School in Liverpool to begin as soon as possible!

This is an EYFS/KS1 class of 8 children with a range of additional needs, such as ASD, ADHD, behavioural challenges and non-verbal.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

  • Deliver lesson plans under the support of a senior.
  • Implement special education strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
  • Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status / HLTA certification.
  • Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
  • Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive classroom environment.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques for language enhancement.
