About the Role:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties.

  • Develop and implement EHCP targets in collaboration with the SENCO and wider support team.

  • Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes progress and independence.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support for every learner.

  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a specialist or inclusive setting

  • A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils

  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities
