SEN Tutor- South Liverpool
Milk Education are working with a client who are currently recruiting for a SEN Tutor where you will support children on a 1:1 basis within various environments such as homes, hubs and local libraries. You will be supporting students with varying backgrounds, needs and abilities, and all / most students will have an EHCP. Ages of students which you will support will vary between 11 years – 25 years of age, and will have varying needs.
Support will depend on the child’s needs, this could be:
– Speech and language support
– Creative, Sensory and Motor skills support
– Maths and English support
Responsibilities as a SEN Tutor:
– Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
– Assess students’ learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans
– Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their learning goals
– Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance student understanding
– Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
– Collaborate with teachers and parents/guardians to support student learning and address any concerns
About you as a SEN Tutor:
– Previous experience tutoring or working in education, particularly with children
– Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject(s) being tutored
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Confident supporting children and young additionals with SEND
– Able to plan and prepare resources
– Reliable and consistent
