Customer Services and Export SupervisorSalary: £35k DOELocation: Liverpool, Merseyside - L33Full Time, Permanent RoleI am currently representing a forward-thinking client who is looking for an experienced and quality driven Customer Service & Export Team Leader to oversee their internal Customer Service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their career development and work with a reputable company, becoming a key member and cog within the export and logistics teams. The Key Duties of the Customer Services and Export Supervisor

  • Supervision of Customer Services, Export, and Despatch personnel
  • Co-manage staff performance management processes.
  • Maintain order schedule and chair daily meetings, ensuring orders are progressing as planned and shipments are scheduled appropriately.
  • Support Department Manager to ensure departmental Objectives / KPI targets are achieved.
  • Work with Customer Service, Export and Despatch personnel to ensure Customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Liaise with distributor network when required.
  • Oversee the processing of customer orders and requests, providing real time updates on status when needed.
  • Work with Senior team members to ensure all order paperwork is reviewed and signed off.
  • Supervise the export and import processes and paperwork, including proof of export and import checks.
  • Support the team to process Sales Orders, answer customer queries, liaise with couriers and freight forwarders, and produce export and shipping paperwork.
  • Work with the team to ensure all orders are being packed in a reasonable time frame.
  • Work with the team to ensure Customer and Distributor product reserves and standing orders are maintained.
  • Review reports from Accounts to confirm orders are shipping / being held as appropriate.
  • Contribute to improving departmental procedures within the Company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Support departmental manager with departments Process Development Plan (PDP).
  • Comply with and supervise staff awareness of Health and Safety procedures and maintain good practice within the
  • Comply with and supervise staff awareness of Human Resource processes (and relevant documentation) and observe provisions set out in Company Handbook.

The Key Requirements of the Customer Services and Export Supervisor

  • Knowledge of Sales Order Processing
  • Working knowledge of Stock Control
  • Excellent computer skills particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and Dynamics
  • Proven and up to date knowledge of International and European shipping regulations is essential
  • Experience of dealing directly with customer issues and complaints
  • Experience of working within ISO framework, preferably ISO 9001
  • Exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail
