The School and Role

This large Secondary school based near Wavertree, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a Design & Technology Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  The ideal candidate will have an excellent teaching profile with experience teaching Design Technology and/or Art including product design of wood, plastic, fabrics, and metal to GCSE. This is a full-time role, starting in January 2024, and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year.  This school is a vibrant and inclusive 11-18 co-educational school located in the heart of Liverpool. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where students are encouraged to flourish both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements

The desired Design & Technology Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
