Location: Liversedge (100% office-based)
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Contract: Permanent

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next challenge?

Stafflex are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and thriving business with ongoing expansion plans. Our client provides a supportive and collaborative working environment with excellent facilities, including free parking, a canteen, and dedicated office space.

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller with SAGE experience to join a busy finance team. This is a key role within the department, working closely with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth credit control processes. The successful candidate will work alongside another Credit Controller and an Apprentice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily chasing of outstanding debts (primarily by phone and email).
- Handling daily banking and cash allocation.
- Posting invoices onto the finance system.
- Resolving finance queries and raising credit notes.
- Opening new customer accounts and performing account reconciliations.
- Reviewing and monitoring credit limits regularly.
- Issuing monthly statements, creating stop lists, and sending copy invoices/documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records of credit control activity.
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve account-related issues.


Experience Required:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control is essential.

Key Skills and Attributes:

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable managing a busy workload and working under pressure.
- Proficiency with SAGE200 preferred (SAGE50 will also be considered).
