iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting organisation based in West Lothian and are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join the team on a 6-month basis. There is potential for the right individual for this role to become permanent.

Location: West Lothian, Scotland

Working Hours: Part-time, 3-4 days per week (flexible working arrangements available after training)

Contract: Temporary, with potential for permanent placement

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Starting: Immediately

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts to Trial Balance: Prepare accurate trial balances, including processing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform and maintain monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage and process supplier invoices
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Handle manual journal entries to ensure seamless financial reporting.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, particularly in preparing accounts to trial balance.
  • Experience with Sage 50 is desirable
  • Proficiency in accounts payable processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and alignment with company values.
  • Disclosure Check will be required
