Your new roleIn your new role, you will play a key role between the Financial Controller and Junior Staff to provide guidance about best practice processes alongside company direction. This is a varied role which will include the below duties:

Tasked with assisting in the creation of annual Statutory Accounts
Supervise and manage all general accounting functions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes, treasury, and cash management.
Accountable for forecasting cash flow.
Develop and improve processes
Review, analyse, and upload monthly accounting statements, trial balance, and reporting pack for group consolidation.
Prepare financial statements and statutory entries for tax purposes
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of general accounting based on IFRS and UK GAAP.
Manage relationships with both internal and external auditors, banks, and authorities.
Act as a line manager for one direct report.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need to be a motivated finance professional who has a track record of working effectively in a team setting but can also work autonomously.
