An excellent opportunity with a very successful SME Clothing Brand based in Central Scotland.

Flexible working and easy commute from Edinburgh or Glasgow

A position that will suit a person with a good knowledge of garment construction and with a background that has incorporated product development and Brand marketing.

Responsibilities will include:

Working closely with Product Managers and the sales team .
Overseeing the development of product that reflects market requirements
Development of the brand to reach its full potential .
Analysis of market trends in fabrication , styling and colour ways
Regular analysis of market competition
Market reviews on like for like product qualities, range offer, packaging, and pricing.
Visits to garment suppliers
Trade Show visits within the UK and overseas + travel to distribution partners .

The Requirements :

A good knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing with previous experience with ladies, mens or childrens fashion or sports clothing.
A broad background within the apparel industry which includes marketing.
You may presently be a Brand Manager , Marketing Manager or Product Developer, Product Development Manager or have worked within buying .
A full driving licence is required .
The position is based in Central Scotland and within easy driving distance from Edinburgh and Glasgow and will require some travel for business meetings.
