Logistics Co-ordinator

Shifts: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: 25,000
We are seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator for our client in Livingston.This role is a comprehensive administrative function designed to ensure efficient planning within the transport team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistics planning for installations, decommissioning, and emergency breakdown responses, ensuring timely coordination and efficient operations.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track the procurement process to support logistics operations and project time lines.
- Handle driver paperwork, ensuring all transport documentation is accurate and up to date, including delivery notes and compliance logs.
- Ensure all transport activities comply with relevant safety, technical, and legal regulations, maintaining necessary accreditation's (e.g., CSCS, PASMA).
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities and ensure all compliance logs are updated and reviewed in line with company standards.
- Communicate with internal teams to coordinate the seamless movement of goods, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and equipment across the supply chain.
- Prioritise safety in all logistical activities, adhering to the company's Health and Safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in administration and resource management software.
- In-depth understanding of site-specific requirements and legal certifications (e.g., CSCS, PASMA).
- Experience handling customer queries and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- A strong understanding of Health and Safety protocols on construction sites.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
