One of my industry-leading clients are currently experiencing a rapid period of growth and looking to expand their CNC team. This position is a dual-split role whereby you will program and operate CNC machines, as well as work in a small parts assembly setting. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of XYZ lathes and be comfortable programming and operating CNC machines independently. They will also have knowledge and experience of small parts mechanical assembly.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC machines (XYZ lathes and 3-axis milling machines).
  • Make small scale adjustments to products using CNC machines.
  • Work within a small parts mechanical assembly setting - assembling products in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Component inspection using calipers and other precision measuring tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working with CNC machines - the ideal candidate will be able to program, set, and operate CNC machines independently.
  • Knowledge of XYZ lathes and 3-axis milling machines is preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a small parts mechanical assembly setting.
  • Must be able to fault find in both CNC and assembly settings and combat these issues as and when they arise.
